Social programme

The social programme of the symposium includes welcome reception, excursions, refreshments and conference dinner. Excursions, refreshments and conference dinner are included in the registration fee. The City of Stockholm is the host of the welcome reception and it is free of charge for all registered participants of the symposium and their accompanying persons.

  The Welcome reception will take place in the internationally known City Hall of Stockholm which is one of the most interesting buildings in Stockholm, world famous for the Nobel Banquet.

The reception takes place on Tuesday, 11 June, 2013, 19.00 - 21.00

Two guided excursions to two unique and the internationally known Stockholm museums and tourist attractions: Millesgården and the Vasa Museum

Millesgården is a museum with antique collection, sculpture garden, art gallery and restaurant.
Vasa sank on her maiden voyage in Stockholm 1628 and was salvaged 1961

The excursions will be organized on Wednesday, 12 June 2013, at 14.00. Departure of buses from Kräftriket (the main entry to the Department of Mathematics, House 6)

The conference dinner will be organized on Thursday, 13 June, 2013, at 19.30-23.00, at one of the restaurants located at walking distance from Kräftriket.
