About myself

I was born in Shanghai,China. I received BS and MS degrees in mathematics in 1982 and 1984 respectively, both from Fudan University, Shanghai, and the PhD in optimization and systems theory, from KTH, Sweden. Between 1984 and 1987 I served as an assistant professor at Department of Applied Mathematics, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai. From October 1993 to June 1995 I worked at Mathematics Institute , University of Groningen, the Netherlands, supported by NFR--Swedish Natural Science Research Council, now Swedish Research Council, as a postdoctral fellow. I returned to KTH for a short while afterwards. Since 1996 I am a senior lecturer at Department of Mathematics, Stockholm University, Sweden. From April through June 1997 I worked at Systems Science & Mathematics, Washington University in St. Louis, as a Fulbright scholar.

I am a mother of three children: Nanna, Joar, and Sonja. They are wonderful kids!
