Background

I finished my PhD at Uppsala University in May 2002, and my thesis was about critical point theory. Since then I have been a postdoc at Institut Mittag-Leffler (Sweden), University of Toronto (Canada), University of Virginia (USA) and the University of Surrey (UK). 2007-2011 I was an assistant professor at Stockholm University, and since July 2011 I have been a senior lecturer at the same department.

Teaching

I am the head teacher in Ordinary Differential Equations. If you are a student and would like to write a degree project in differential equations, feel free to contact me.

Research

I work in the area of nonlinear analysis and partial differential equations. I use methods from functional analysis, ordinary differential equations and the calculus of variations. A new research interest is mathematical biology. I have received a research grant from Vinnova for a three year project in this area. See information from Vinnova's webpage.
